Even with its name, Hostan Hradní světlý ležák evokes the memory of the good old days, which persist in the quality of this beer to this day. It is characterized by a delicious, full, slightly hoppy taste and aroma with a perfect cut. It is produced according to a time-proven recipe from the best Moravian malt and Žatec aromatic hops. This eleven-degree pale lager will be appreciated by the discerning beer consumer.

The history of the Hostan brand is inextricably linked with the town of Znojmo, where beer was brewed as far back as in the Middle Ages according to a document of Rudolf Habsburg from 1278. Hostan beer is named after the first brewer, Mr. Hostan, who appears in records from the time of Charles IV on the list of townspeople granted the right to brew beer. Since 2002, Hostan has been brewed in the Starobrno brewery, while strictly adhering to traditional recipes.
