Well, this beer, when we tried it, we had a summer smile. Sea, sun, octopus, squid, tzaziki and a sweaty aniseed bream. The Greeks say it’s drunk when the sun goes down (until then we turn the ouzo over). That’s why we added in our darkest beer Balkan to the Bones Four Rakias Oak Aged Imperial Milk Stout tsipouro from the sunniest part of Greece – Patras. We don’t know if Dionysius would approve of this, but we soaked oak chips in this anise elixir and waited for the flavors to blend. We added it with religious ritual to the sounds of Nikos Vertis and Demis Roussos in our imperial stout. We waited for him in the sun and Greek salads (with tsipouro). Few months.
